Have I mentioned how much I LOVE working with other photographers? Yes, it can be a bit nerve wracking working with someone else whose talents are numerous, but bottom line is that they bring unique vision to a shoot and new life to some ideas and the collaboration is something just beautiful! 

Kristen of Kristen Deem Photography contacted me about doing a lifestyle shoot for her new son, Lochlan. I was thrilled, as lifestyle newborns are my favourite. The ideas started flowing and we just went from there!

We also arranged a First 48 after his birth in Cambridge. I love, love, love shooting First 48's. Those tiny squishy faces change so much, even in the first few days between birth and the newborn session; its such an amazing thing to capture, and I always leave feeling so blessed to have seen and captured that new family during such precious moments! 

We arranged to do his newborn shoot a couple weeks later to give the little guy (and his parents!) a chance to get on schedule. I love doing lifestyle shoots for newborns: its so much more homey, and cosy, and lovey for the little people and their families. Plus, its an amazing way to capture your home and those special little details like nurseries, homemade blankets, and nursing moments. 

These three were such fun to work with- we laughed through almost the whole session- well, some of us did anyways!
