{Fall Mini Sessions!!!} Lakenheath, Brandon, and Ely Family and Children's Portrait Photographer

Marci and Steve came to me with the idea of shooting a couple's session in downtown Ely. Of course, I said, "of course!" They also brought along their adorably sweet little dogs- Allie and Lola. They were SO cute and fluffy and I could have taken them both home. We also headed over towards the river and walked up along the shore. The boats were out for a Sunday cruise and the sun was setting. It was the stuff perfect evenings are made of! Thanks Marci and Steve for a great evening in Ely- and I wish you both the best of luck as you head back to the USA!

{Fall Mini Sessions!!!} Lakenheath, Brandon, and Ely Family and Children's Portrait Photographer

Miss Courtney was a Click Mama Click workshop attendee. Each of our 'students' received a gift certificate towards Amanda and my services: Courtney immediately knew (as in as she was opening the gift certificate!) that she was going to do a boudoir session! She and I went back and forth over Pinterest and Facebook and shopping sites and pin-up inspiration boards for weeks. We laughed and giggled and could have shot for hours. Courtney blew me away in any poses that we came up with or ideas we had, ...

Sweet tiny baby Lily surprised her parents by arriving almost 3 full weeks early! I quickly rearranged a few things so that I could head over to the hospital for her First 48 session- I swear, I think these are the absolute BEST part of being a newborn photographer. I loooove seeing those tiny, fresh, little squishy faces surrounded by their absolutely adoring (and exhausted!) parents. There is absolutely nothing like that new love! We did Lily's studio session the week afterwards. Her mom, Beka, loves to bake, so she brought in a cake, her mixer and some other adorable props! I absolutely love when parents want to incorporate something meaningful to them into their newborn shoots. ...

{Fall Mini Sessions!!!} Lakenheath, Brandon, and Ely Family and Children's Portrait Photographer

Recently, a well-known satirical photography blogger posted this status on her Facebook page: "Can I Just Get The CD?"Dear potential client,I have no crystal ball, yet, I know you will be calling me this week for information about what I do. You might have seen one of my displays or my website or, hopefully, was referred by a friend. And you will have liked what you saw-otherwise, you wouldn’t be calling me. And for that, I am truly happy. And we will speak together on the phone: me asking questions to better understand what it is you are needing, but more importantly, what you are “wanting.” The wants are always more important than the needs when it comes to Art. And ...
